ABOUT BAR K RANCH

Bar K Ranch is located in the West Elk mountains of northwest Gunnison County in west central Colorado, game management unit 521. Bar K Ranch is a professional hunting operation with over 35 years of outfitting experience. We hunt on 5000 acres of private land and in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests by special use permit USDA-Forest Service. Our hunting area consists of Aspen forest, Gamble oak, and high mountain meadows in an elevation of 7,500’ to 9,000’.

Bar K Ranch provides a hunting experience adhering to the ethics of “fair chase”. We also adhere to the rules and regulations of the state of Colorado and the United States Department of Agriculture-Forest Service. We strongly respect the private property rights of adjacent landowners and expect the same in return. It is the goal of Bar K Ranch to educate, share and adhere to the heritage of hunting ethics in order to maintain and preserve it for generations to come.
